Results That Meet Your Needs

New Construction

Goods and services must be accessible to individuals with disabilities. While the Americans with Disabilities Act is a civil rights law, the supporting Florida Building Code for Accessibility provides building code standards that must be complied with.

No Construction

Existing facilities are responsible for providing people with disabilities equal access to goods and services by removing architectural barriers when doing so is ‘readily achievable’.

Increased Revenue

Disabled persons represent the largest minority group in America, comprising over 50 million individuals and one and four adults living with a disability in Florida. Americans with disabilities have nearly half a trillion dollars in disposable income, and globally, the disability market influences over $13 trillion dollars in annual spend.

Tax Incentives

Federal tax incentives include tax deductions for barrier removal of up to $15k (IRS Publication: 535, Chapter 7) & small business tax credit of up to $5k (IRS Form 8826).

Lawsuit Mitigation

In 2017, a Florida Statute (553.5141) was enacted to provide relief for owners and operators of a place of public accommodation who may elect to file a certificate of conformity or remediation plan to a designated registry, as resulted by a site survey report.

Diversity, Equality, Inclusion, Accessibility

Many customers want to support and associate themselves with brands that prioritize DEIA. Ninety-one percent of millennials and 90% of Gen Z are more likely to purchase from organizations that demonstrate how their products have strong social or environmental benefits.
