ADA Survey Process Steps
What to expect when you elect to conduct an ADA Survey of your facility, business or property. You may download the steps in PDF form for your convenience.
Step 1
Establish Inspection Timeframe
A time & date is set for the survey that is the least disruptive to your normal course of business. Your facility is reviewed by satellite imagery for a precursory review of exterior features to be surveyed.
Step 2
Conduct ADA Survey
The interior and exterior architectural features of your facility that are included in ADA standards are carefully measured and recorded in a guided survey by qualified ADA advisory experts.
Step 3
Report & Remediation Plan
The survey results are used to create a comprehensive report of compliance and deficienies. A detailed remediation plan for correcting deficiencies is produced that includes priorities and construction costs.
Step 4
FL ADA Title III Registry
If elected, the results of the report and remediation plan are submitted to the FL ADA Title III Registry to show your commitment to accessibility and provide you legal recourse in the event of ADA related litigation.
